What the app reads

ShopTile reads your store name, currency and timezone, plus recent order identifiers, creation dates, current totals, item titles and current quantities. These fields are used to calculate the metrics you choose to place on a card. The app does not request customer names, addresses, email addresses or phone numbers.

Processing and retention

Order records and calculated metrics are processed on demand and are not persisted in the app database. Metrics are returned to your authenticated browser without shared caching. Shopify installation sessions and access tokens are stored server-side so the app can authenticate your store.

The app uses store-level offline sessions and strips merchant profile information before saving them. It does not persist merchant names, email addresses, staff IDs or language preferences. Uninstall and shop redaction webhooks delete the store’s session records. Hosting infrastructure may process request metadata for operating and securing the service; deployment-specific details must be supplied by the operator before launch.

To enforce Free export limits, the app stores your shop domain, UTC usage month, export count and an export request identifier with a one-way image fingerprint. It does not store the exported image, headline, order metrics or payment-card details. Individual Pro downloads are not recorded. Older Free usage and retry records are removed on the next successful Free export; shop redaction deletes all remaining usage and session records. Current-month usage is retained across uninstall/reinstall until shop redaction, to prevent an immediate allowance reset.

Shopify manages subscription charges. The app checks your store’s current Shopify App Pricing subscription through Shopify’s Partner API to determine Free or Pro access.

Downloads and external services

Cards and captions are generated in your browser. Downloads stay on your device. If you choose Share on X, the selected caption is passed to X to prepare a draft. You decide whether to attach the image and publish it; X’s own policies apply to that service.

Shopify provides installation, authentication and the order data used by the app. The app loads Shopify’s interface resources and hosts its included fonts itself. This documentation site has no advertising or analytics scripts.

Data requests

Use the support contact on this site or the Shopify app listing for questions, access or deletion requests. Do not send access tokens, customer records or passwords. ShopTile also handles Shopify’s mandatory customer data request, customer redaction and shop redaction webhooks.
