ShopTile1. Open your studio
Install ShopTile through Shopify, then open it from Apps in your Shopify admin. You do not need a separate account or a store password. Choose Create a tile on the home screen.
On mobile, use Preview, Design, Metrics and Dates in the top navigation to switch views. Download saves a PNG; open the adjacent three-dot menu for JPG, Copy as text and Share on X. Your choices stay in place when you switch. On desktop, settings and the preview appear side by side.
If your store has no orders in the selected period, choose Preview with sample data. Sample cards, downloads and captions are always labeled SAMPLE.
2. Choose your period
In Content on desktop or Dates on mobile, Free includes Today and Last 30 days. Pro adds Yesterday, Last 7 days, This month, Previous month and Custom. All dates use your store’s timezone.
ShopTile uses recent order history within Shopify’s 60-day access window. A range outside accessible history is rejected instead of showing incomplete numbers. Today is a partial day; its growth compares it with the preceding full day.
3. Pick the numbers
Free includes Store Snapshot with Sales or Orders as the main metric. Pro also includes average order value and units sold as main metrics, Growth cards and Bestseller cards. Bestseller ranks products by current units sold.
Choose up to three secondary metrics. The main metric is not repeated in the secondary row. An unavailable comparison is displayed as Unavailable, never as zero growth.
4. Make it yours
Free includes Minimal and Bold templates, black, white and green palettes, and Inter and Manrope fonts. Pro unlocks all six templates, seven palettes and four fonts. Both plans include an optional headline of up to 70 characters, and the option to hide your store name.
Design changes happen in the browser without fetching your orders again. Review the preview before downloading, especially when using a long headline or product name.
5. Download and share
Square exports at 1080 × 1080, Landscape at 1600 × 900, and Story at 1080 × 1920. Download PNG for transparent outer corners or JPG for a white outer background. Fonts are included in the rendered image.
Copy as text copies the selected metrics and store identity. Share on X downloads your image and opens a draft caption. Attach the downloaded image yourself before publishing. ShopTile never publishes a post automatically.
On mobile, downloads may appear in Files or your browser’s downloads menu. Save the image to Photos if your social app requires it.
Free includes 2 exports per calendar month, resetting on the first day at 00:00 UTC. Download PNG, Download JPG and Share on X each count as one export. Copy as text does not use an export. Sample exports inside your installed app count toward your allowance; the public sample demo is separate. Unused exports do not roll over.
Free cards include Made with ShopTile in the bottom-right corner. Pro costs $4.99 USD per month, billed through Shopify every 30 days, and includes unlimited exports with a smaller watermark. Open Your plan to review, change or cancel your subscription in Shopify.
How the numbers are calculated
Sales sums current Shopify order totals, including tax and shipping and reflecting current returns and order adjustments. It represents order value, not settled payments or a financial accounting report.
Orders counts non-test orders created in the selected period. Cancelled, unpaid and fully refunded orders remain in the count. Average order value is sales divided by that order count.
Units sold sums current quantities, excluding refunded or removed items. Bestseller ranks those quantities by product title; items with the same title are combined. It is not a revenue ranking.
Growth compares sales with the immediately preceding period of equal calendar length. It is unavailable when the preceding period falls outside accessible history, or when the preceding period has zero sales and the selected period has positive sales.
If something does not work
Metrics unavailable: retry after a moment. If Shopify is busy, wait before trying again. For a very large number of orders, choose a shorter period.
No orders: try another date range or explore the templates with labeled sample data. Test orders do not appear in real metrics.
Export failed: retry, keep the tab open while it renders, and check that your browser allows downloads. For clipboard errors, grant clipboard permission or try another browser.
X did not open: allow popups and retry Share on X. You can also use Download PNG and Copy as text, then compose your post directly.
